Luigi's Mansion 3 Lets Players Pet The Polterpup (VIDEO)

While there are a lot of ghostly figures in the Luigi’s Mansion franchise that are hostile and aggressive, they aren’t always on a rampage. One particular addition to the franchise’s latest entry -Luigi’s Mansion 3 – is the Polterpup, a character that was introduced in Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon who was a friendly creature, albeit a mischievous one. After completing the game, the Polterpup is adopted by Luigi himself and now it appears that the good boy will be making a return in Luigi’s Mansion 3.

Players were able to play with the Polterpup in Dark Moon so it seems only natural that they’ll be able to do something similar with the spectral canine in the recently released title as well. The Twitter account “Can You Pet The Dog” asks exactly what it sounds like, going between different titles in search of discovering whether or not they let players pet or play with dogs. As for Luigi’s Mansion 3, the Polterpup arrives at the Last Resort Hotel alongside Luigi and the rest of his companions and players can see the playful creature steal food, jump out of boxes, and more. The Twitter account reveals that players can also pet the Polterpup and honestly what more could players want.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 was released on October 31st for players on the Nintendo Switch. Are you glad to see the return of the Polterpup in the latest title?
