New Agony Gameplay Showcases the Floating Forest and Various Gameplay Mechanics
More and more regarding this first-person, survival horror game has gradually released on the official YouTube and Steam store. Madmind Studios just released another official Agony gameplay video that features the Floating Forest. Just as amazingly morbid, but equally intriguing and enticing, the well-crafted atmosphere and environment draws you in. At the same time, the demonic creatures, gruesome noises, and enemies lurking around every corner forces your hand to be careful. Check out the entirety of the Floating Forest below, but be warned – the footage that is featured may be disturbing to some:

A few new gameplay mechanics are featured in the video including a guiding light that shows you where to go next, collectible items, demons, combat, and more. The protagonist can wield a torch to burn down obstacles and kill those trying to eat you. Players can swim in the blood filled “waters”, but only for a limited time before oxygen runs out. As revealed before, holding your breath is vital to avoiding predators and hiding one’s presence. Several different items can be collected or viewed – from journal pages, interactive sculptures, to idols like the Goddess Statue. There’s even a voice to egg you on this dangerous, grisly journey of discovering the Red Goddess and escaping hell.
Agony is anticipated to release some time this year, but a date has not been specified. It will be available for PC (via Steam), Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. What do you think of the footage and audio featured in the Agony gameplay? Would you play this and attempt to finish the game?
