New Jump Force Story Trailer Revealed, Fans React To Weird Graphics (VIDEO)
The heroes and villains from some of the biggest manga has to offer are set to collide in Spike Chunsoft’s upcoming fighter Jump Force. The game’s epic crossover of punch-packing contenders have been slowly unveiled over the last few months, the likes of Dragon Ball, Naruto, and My Hero Academia banding together to form the titular team.
With the game’s grand debut coming up next month, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer at Taipei Games Show hyping the superheroic story fans will experience during their campaign. The footage shows off a look at the custom player character as they assemble alongside the heroes of Jump Force in the fight against a powerful otherworldly evil. While there looks to be plenty for fans to get excited about, it seems not everyone has been impressed by Jump Force’s gritty presentation. Voicing their opinions via Twitter, a number of people have reached the consensus that the game’s realistic look isn’t exactly up to snuff.

If Jump Force appeals to you, that’s absolutely legitimate. I’m just speaking for myself here when I say that it looks ugly. That’s a very subjective thing so don’t let my disgust for the game’s graphics affect your interest in the game itself.

However, it doesn’t appear all viewers on Twitter are reacting unfavorably to Jump Force’s graphics. Quite a few fans are getting the opposite impression about the look of the game, showing appreciation and praise for the unique art direction Bandai Namco have been showing off so far.

Regardless of graphical quality, Jump Force looks like it has much to offer in terms of fan service. The game is already confirmed to feature 40 fighters across 14 different franchises with even more rumored to be on the way. A new open beta session is currently set to release sometime in the next few weeks, giving fans another chance to experience those splendid/horrible graphics for themselves. For everyone else, Jump Force will release on February 15th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
