Jump Force Story Mode Trailer Reveals New Fighters, Character Creation Details, And More (VIDEO)

Earlier this week, Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft announced the appearance of Asta from the highly popularized Black Cover manga and anime series for Jump Force. Complete with his anti-magic and swords, he’s joining the roster as another formidable character to use or fight against, but there’s even more to come. In the recently released story mode trailer for Jump Force, other anime icons are joining in on the mayhem. Check it out below:

The trailer highlights Jump Force’s story mode, when a “sudden merging of the Jump World and Real World” wreaks absolute mayhem on Earth and it looks as though a mysterious device called the Onyx Book has a part in it. In addition to that, Bandai and team reveal a handful of other playable fighters including Boa Hancock from One Piece, Renji Abarai from Bleach, and Trunks from Dragon Ball alongside those previously announced. Here’s the official summary of the brand new story mode trailer for Jump Force:

A sudden merging of the Jump World and the Real World has caused chaos across Earth, with invading villains leaving a trail of destruction and panic in their wake. To tackle this new threat, a new team of heroes, named the Jump Force, is formed by Director Glover featuring the strongest fighters from across the manga universe. Players will create their own hero, customizing their look and fighting moves with elements across all manga franchises, before joining up with the Jump Force to stop the villains in their tracks.”

That’s a whole lot to take in. There’s extensive character customization available in the game and there’s some potentially monstrous creations players can dish up. Plus, that Boa Hancock though?!
