Terry Crews’ Crackdown 3 Character Highlighted in New Trailer (VIDEO)

Crackdown 3 Character Highlighted in New Trailer (VIDEO)

During this year’s Xbox E3 event, Crackdown 3 revealed the character of Commander Agent Isaiah Jaxon played to be played by Terry Crews. The hilarious video that accompanied the announcement showed the actor fully suited up as Jaxon, inviting other players to assist him in blowing up everything in the destruction simulator. Recently at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Microsoft fully revealed Terry Crews Crackdown 3 character in a new teaser video, providing a peek at what he’ll look like in the game.

As you can see in the video above, the new Crackdown looks to have captured Crews’ facial details extremely well, but we shouldn’t expect see this carry over to the final product. While this generation of consoles can undoubtedly handle the graphical load, especially the souped-up Xbox One X, hardware resources will presumably be focused elsewhere: the expansive environmental destruction that the series is famous for. Though some may see a potential character downgrade as a negative, it could mean more detailed and beautiful destruction effects, and that seems like a worthwhile trade off. I guess we’ll have to see for ourselves when Crackdown 3 arrives on PC and Xbox One November 7th.

What do you think? Will Terry Crews’ Crackdown 3 character be a great addition regardless of polygon count, or should the developers find another way to compromise?
