Injustice 2: Latest Flash Character Trailer Shatters the Space-Time Barrier (VIDEO)
Injustice 2 has been on a roll with reveals lately, with last week’s villain-focused trailer and Catwoman’s debut still fresh in everyone’s minds. Even after all the new roster additions, there is still many more characters to be officially unveiled as part of NetherRealm Studios’ latest fighting game, a few of which have access to the ultra-powerful Speed Force (hint hint). Recently, a Flash character trailer dropped showing off the speedster’s many fast-paced moves, including the outrageous ability to travel through time. Check out the laws of physics being destroyed in the video below:
The new trailer begins with the scarlet speedster confronting long-time nemesis and super-smart ape Gorilla Grodd, before undoubtedly engaging in battle. The Flash’s moves are made up of all manner of speedy attacks. Multi-directional punches, creating tornadoes, and throwing speed-lightning are just a few of the interesting things the quick-footed hero is able to accomplish just by running, albeit really, really fast. Impossibly fast. Flash’s hat trick is his Super Move, where the speedster takes an opponent on a beatdown through time, and brings them back to the present, where a paradox-inducing time-duplicate is waiting to be smashed into. These events don’t come close to making any amount of sense, but that’s just part of the Speed Force, of course.
