You Can Now Redeem WoW Tokens for Overwatch and Hearthstone Items! (VIDEO)
Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft players can now turn the gold they have earned in WoW into credit on Battle.net! That means you can now use your WoW tokens to purchase things in other Blizzard games, like fan favorites, Overwatch and Hearthstone. WoW tokens were first used in 2015 to exchange your in-game gold for game time by players buying the tokens with gold and trading them in a special marketplace. Now we can do so much more!
You can now convert your WoW tokens into normal credit on Battle.net and essentially use the money you’ve made on World of Warcraft and use it to buy loot boxes on Overwatch or packs of cards in the game Hearthstone. You could sell any gear you don’t need anymore, right this second, and then go get all the Year of the Rooster loot boxes. At least that’s what we would do, you can do whatever you want. This change will no doubt be a huge success when it comes to making fans happy. Check out this video from Blizzard explaining how it works:
