Netflix’s The Witcher Resumes Filming For Season 2

The Witcher's Henry Cavill Reveals His Rage-Inducing Overwatch Main (VIDEO)

It’s official! The second season of Netflix’s hit The Witcher has resumed filming as planned according to prior announcements for the show to begin filming again in August. After COVID-19 has brought filming to a screeching halt it’s good to see that they are still on schedule. Stephen Surjik, who is responsible for directing the first two episodes of the upcoming season posted on Instagram yesterday with a photo of the camera display that actively stated “shooting”.

Though filming has taken a turn with extra safety measures in place to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Executive producer Lauren Hissrich also tweeted out a comical interraction with her son as he had called her on set while she was in a face mask while donning a face shield. Though production has resumed it is unlikely to see any of the new season of The Witcher until mid-to-late 2021 according to one Rednian report.

Fans on both posts have been wishing the cast and crew of The Witcher good tidings of safety and fun as the production kicks off (again), though some are questioning the levels of close contact in the show and how the production team plans to handle the more (oh my) intimate moments. Nevertheless, one can hope that filming will remain so that we those of us itching to find out what happens next can be satiated.
