Rogue Company Closed Beta Access Goes Live (VIDEO)
Team-based shooters have taken a drastic turn over the years, with many companies favoring the idea of the battle royale formula, giving players a chance to have an endlessly playable scenario that is simple yet is challenging and relies on chance to successfully win each match. Still, the flood of battle royale titles hasn’t stopped companies from also trying their hands at creating amazing small scale team-based shooters either. That’s where Rogue Company comes in.
Hi-Rez Studios and First Watch Games are looking to create just that with Rogue Company, a third-person shooter that features 2 teams of 4 as they duke it out while trying to complete objectives. The game has reached the Closed Beta stage and has sent forth a series of videos to give fans a quick look at the title and decide whether they want to sign up to play it for themselves.
Among the series of small character trailers showing off various Rogues and their skillsets, the launch trailer, a quick gameplay overview, and more, the developers also included a word from them discussing the game as a whole. On top of announcing that Rogue Company is currently live in its Closed Beta stage, First Watch and Hi-Rez Studios explain that they will be testing a whole host of features such as gameplay, server functionality, and more over the course of the next few weeks and months that the beta goes on for.
Rogue Company’s Closed Beta is currently available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
