The latest XCOM 2 DLC is almost here and to get players amped up for the latest expansion, Firaxis, the developer, has recently released a brand new gameplay video to formally introduce fans to The Lost. Also included in the walkthrough is a new look at what is to come with the DLC, including new factions and a different kind of enemy.

War of the Chose brings the fight against ADVENT to new levels as new factions come together to face this domineering threat head on. In the efforts to stave off complete annihilation, a new type of enemy emerges called the “Chosen.” The Chosen have one goal – to recapture the Commander and take down anyone that stands in their way.

To counter this new threat, War of the Chosen reveals new classes and factions to take on the enemy: The Reapers, Skirmishers, and the Templars. Each has their own style as well as unique ways they can lend their efforts to the war.

This latest expansion will also bring on new maps, missions, and environments for players to strategical traverse in their war efforts. With the gameplay walkthrough, fans of the XCOM franchise can see a closer in-game look at the Assassin and what these new missions will entail. The challenge is real and will be available on August 29th for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
