FX just released their trailer for their upcoming series Legion. The trailer follows David Haller (son of Charles Xavier and Gabrielle Haller)who is referred to as someone who “may be the most powerful mutant” in the new X-Men series to hit television.

Titled “Powerful Real” the 30 second teaser proves to be just that, which you can check out below:

Noah Hawley, who is known for Fargo and his work as a writer on the hit series Bones will be heading Legion, a story about a mutant who happens to be diagnosed with schizophrenia, and disassociative identity disorder which manifests itself in different personalities that all have separate mutant powers. Legion’s first appearance happened to be in New Mutant, which was released in 1985.

As far as we know, Legion will be a standalone series, however it has been confirmed by Bryan Singer (executive producer) that it will relate down the line of future X-Men movies! David Haller will be played by Dan Stevens and is due to drop in 2017!
