Warframe Beasts Of The Sanctuary Update Adds New Character And Survival Mode
The Warframe Beasts of the Sanctuary update is nearly here, bringing with it loads of new goodies for Tenno to enjoy. Arriving on PC this week and PS4 and Xbox One next month, Beasts of the Sanctuary introduces Khora, a brand new whip-wielding Warframe that commands a metallic Khavat (cat pet) that can attack, protect, and heal. Interesting ability names aside, Khora can be used as both an offensive and support Warframe, with the ability to lock down her enemies and crack the whip to deliver swift justice. Here are her abilities:
Warframe – Khora
- WHIPCLAW – Send enemies reeling with a deafening whipcrack.
- ENSNARE – Bind a hapless target in living metal, entangling others who stray too close. Disperse the trap with a crack of the whip.
- VENARI – Summon a ferocious, gleaming kavat. Use again to cycle between Attack, Protect, and Heal postures.
- STRANGLEDOME – Weave a dome of living chain that ensnares and strangles any enemy within, and any foolish enough to approach.
In addition to Khora, the Warframe Beasts of the Sanctuary update also introduces a new survival mode called ‘Sanctuary Onslaught’. The new mode is where players can acquire the Khora Warframe blueprints, as well as a new Captura scene and other goodies. Players can try the new mode out after the update arrives by speaking with Cephalon Simaris at the Sanctuary in the Relay.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Warframe update without new weapons and cosmetics! The latest batch of weapons includes Khora’s signature sidearm, the Hystrix, with elemental damage types that can be changed on the fly. Khora’s Dual Keres, her signature swords, are also introduced, as well as a new semi-automatic rifle, called the Veldt. A new Kerata Syandana is also coming this week, as is Khora’s alternate helmet, called the Delphi helm. Last but not least, several new Zaw parts will be available for purchase at Hok’s shop in Cetus.
Warframe is now available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
