Uncharted Star Tom Holland Says Movie Is "Everything I Dreamed It Would Be”

Though the Uncharted live-action movie adaptation has infamously been in various stages of development for over a decade now, things are finally progressing to the point where shooting has begun in earnest despite the ongoing pandemic. Nathan Drake actor Tom Holland recently took to his Instagram to talk a bit about how things have been going, revealing that filming the Uncharted movie is ‘everything’ he had dreamed it would be.

A decidedly comfy-looking Tom Holland recently jumped onto his Instagram to talk a bit about filming the Uncharted movie. After apologizing for not uploading any content for a while, Holland revealed that he recently got a large bruise from filming, though he refused to show it as it was in a “revealing area” and his Instagram would “get shut down” if he chose to show it off. Frankly the actor looks exhausted, so he’s likely taking it easy partially due to his set injury.

Holland also had some pleasant things to say about the Uncharted movie, revealing that, given his knowledge of the games, filming has been going well. “Filming is going so well,” Holland said. “The film is like, everything I dreamed it would be. I mean, I don’t know if you guys played the games, but I was such a huge fan of the game, and it’s been going so well.”

The Uncharted film is currently slated to release in theaters on July 16th, 2021.
