Fans of The Last of Us, Uncharted 4, and Lost legacy may be disappointed to discover that Shaun Escayg is hanging up his hat at Naughty Dog. Seven years ago I joined the talented team at @Naughty_Dog on a project still in its infancy, The Last Of Us. Well, the rest is history. Left Behind, Uncharted 4 were fleeting and Uncharted The Lost Legacy pushed my creative growth even further- I will miss all my dogs.”

The Lost Legacy Creative Director began his career with Naughty Dog during the conception of The Last of Us. Since then, he has been a part of every major project the developer has put out. While he may have confirmed his leaving the company, a telling post on Instagram may reveal that he has plans for the future.

The Instagram post simply revealed an Avengers logo and included the comment: “to new Adventures- bring it 2018!”. The Lost Legacy Creative Director definitely has some enthusiasm for the future. This makes the thought that he may be working on Crystal Dynamics upcoming Avengers title an even more exciting one.

Who Naughty Dog may fill the Lost Legacy Creative Director slot with remains to be seen. Meanwhile, there is no solid confirmation that Escayg is moving over to Crystal Dynamics. Ultimately, fans will have to wait and see what the future holds for both Naughty Dog and Shaun Escayg.
