Watch: Mad Catz Is #BackintheGame With New Gaming Peripherals

Mad Catz

After almost a year of silence from the thought-dead gaming peripherals company Mad Catz Global Limited, it looks like they are back in a big way for 2018! The company released a teaser trailer a few weeks back that featured brief glimpses of a mouse, a keyboard, and a gaming headset, before revealing the #BackintheGame promo and listing today’s date, 4/1/2018. As there we no mention of Mad Catz in the initial trailer, there was naught but speculation up until today, when the full-length trailer was revealed. Check it out below for a glimpse of the lineup of gaming peripherals from Mad Catz arriving this year:

As seen in the trailer, Mad Catz is starting up its new lineup with a brand new keyboard, mouse, and gaming headset. All the peripherals listed can be previewed at CES 2018, which takes place in Las Vegas from January 9th to January 12th. Mad Catz Global Limited Director of Sales and Operations Selena Chang also issued a statement regarding the company’s return to the spotlight. “We couldn’t be more excited than to begin 2018 by announcing the return of Mad Catz to the global gaming arena,” said Chang.

Through listening to gamers worldwide, we plan to once again forge a path of innovation in the gaming hardware community, and we’re already working on delivering products which we believe will enhance gamers’ abilities and do justice to the Mad Catz name. We can’t wait to unveil a little more at CES 2018 and in the months to come.”

The currently known list of gaming peripherals making an appearance at CES 2018 are the new R.A.T. mice, S.T.R.I.K.E. keyboards, F.R.E.Q. gaming headsets and G.L.I.D.E. gaming surfaces. Product specs will likely be made available during CES 2018, so fans of Mad Catz should keep an eye out for news from the reborn company between January 9-12.
