The film will follow him when he was an orphaned author as he finds friends, love, and artistic inspiration from like-minded individuals. Tolkien Biopic

Edith and Tolkien initially met at the same boarding house in 1908 and a year after meeting, it was apparent the two had fallen in love. They later married in 1913, three years before Tolkien went to war. Edith would also serve as an inspiration for two iconic characters in Tolkien’s works, Lúthien Tinúviel and Arwen Evenstar.

The Tolkien biopic will see the growth of Tolkien’s relationships before WWI attempted to break them apart and serve as an inspiration for his legendary Middle Earth. For fans of Tolkien, seeing the story of the man’s life will be an interesting tale to see unfold on screen.
