The publication company is expected to work closely with Bioware in order to bring us more fandom goodness! They are planning three books to span the universe of Mass Effect: Andromeda. The books come with the much anticipated release of the game and are expected to release around the same time!
One of the most exciting aspects of this creative outlet is that the Mass Effect novels and the game itself are going to weave directly into each other. The books intend to chronicle developed storylines that will be influenced by the game team. This means the stories will run right alongside the game, adding greater depth and detail the epic saga!
The first book is titled “Mass Effect: Nexus Uprising”, authored by Jason M. Hough and K.C. Alexander. It is expected to hit shelves and digital readers on March 28th 2017 so have your best e-reader or coffee mug ready for this late Christmas present! Two more novels are expected to be released in the following summer and fall that will continue to feed your latest reading addiction.
The Mass Effect novels will afford fans greater insights into the new worlds and characters being presented by Andromeda. Unfortunately we will have to settle for anticipation as the stories are so closely tied to the game that they can’t spoil anything. Expect exciting new things, however, as the Mass Effect novels and game respectively plan to take us out of the Milky Way and into the Andromeda Galaxy where the alien life form is no longer a grouchy Volus, but humans instead.
