Game of Thrones’ Tormund and Hound Epic Duet Melts Our Hearts (VIDEO)
Filming Game of Thrones must be a monumental undertaking, especially given Westeros’ multitude of locations with adverse weather conditions. As such, it is likely that the cast of HBO’s award-winning series gets their fair share of well deserved downtime, which actors Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) and Rory McCann (Sandor Clegane/Hound) are apparently using to… sing songs? Uncovered on Hivju’s instagram account, the unlikely duo put on a special Tormund and Hound duet with their own special rendition of The Mills Brother’s “Yellow Bird”. McCann takes the lead while playing guitar, with Hivju popping in and out of the video to ecstatically belt out backup vocals. Check it out below:

You have to admit, that was adorable. None of the other character on Game of Thrones could even begin to fathom a Tormund and Hound duet actually taking place, which makes this video all the more precious to watch. I’d even challenge the typically stoic Brienne of Tarth to not fall for either of these musical lads upon seeing them in action. We can only hope that more duets like this will surface; perhaps one with the Stark sisters, or maybe a Queen ballad featuring Dany and Cersei?
With the final episode of Game of Thrones season 7 having aired last night, some of the characters’ fates are currently up in the air, so we can only hope that they’ll be able to stick around long enough to team up with other cast members for more duets. For now, though, winter is here; if you need to warm your heart, we recommend rewatching the video.
So, what did you think about the Tormund and Hound duet? What other Game of Thrones characters would you like to see meet up for a sing-along?
