Tekken 7 Noctis Reveal Arriving Via Special Final Fantasy Collaboration Stream (VIDEO)
Late last year it was announced that Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis Lucis Caelum would be joining the Tekken 7 roster, much to the excitement of fans of the longtime fighter series. With the release date window of ‘Spring 2018’ rapidly approaching, Square Enix and Bandai Namco have teamed up to announce that a special Tekken 7 Noctis stream will be airing this week. Here’s the Tekken 7 Noctis announcement trailer as a refresher:
The stream goes live on March 14th at 6:00 a.m. EST, and will feature special guests Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata and Tekken 7 series producer Katsuhiro Harada. The stream will be available to watch on YouTube, and it will commemorate the arrival of both Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition and Royal Edition, which launched on March 6th.
Easily the most exciting aspect of the stream is that new information about the upcoming Noctis character DLC for Tekken 7 will be revealed. Unfortunately Square Enix has kept silent on exactly what that information will be, though given that it will be relayed via stream it will likely be substantial. Noctis will be the third outsider to join the Tekken 7 roster, preceded by Fatal Fury’s Geese Howard and Street Fighter’s Akuma.
Both Final Fantasy XV and Tekken 7 are now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
