This Artist Reimagines Super Smash Bros. Fighters In Persona Style
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate shaped up to be exactly what Nintendo hoped for – the ultimate crossover fighter in the franchise. Featuring never before seen fighters to the game, including Ridley, Isabelle from Animal Crossing, and none other than Joker from Persona. As one the most beloved Japanese RPGs in Japan and across the world, one artist took their skills to mash the Persona style and latest Smash game together and it looks awesome!
As seen below, the 23 year old artist Chrash thought it would be fun to throw the two world together. It’s certainly fitting! “I drew persona style cut ins of the OG 8 for smash ultimate,” said Chrash on Twitter. “Really did my best to imitate the art style for Persona 5, especially for the non human characters.”
For fans of both Persona and Super Smash Bros., I think it’s safe to say this is a win. In other Super Smash Bros. Ultimate news, did you know Isabelle is an absolutely overpowered champion? It’s a completely unexpected and welcome surprise, not only to find one of the most helpful Animal Crossing characters destroy other fighters, but she’s an adorable one at that!
Do you think Nintendo should insert a game mode that features the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate characters in Persona style? Are you a fan of Joker becoming a playable character in the game?
