Stray, Formerly HK Project, Revealed For PlayStation 5 (VIDEO)

Stray HK Project PS5

It has been nearly five years since developers Koola and Viv, now BlueTwelve Studio, initially revealed HK Project, an adventure game that follows a lost cat through a futuristic cybercity. Quite a bit has happened since then as the game is now known as Stray, and a trailer was officially revealed during the PlayStation 5 games lineup, which also ended up acting as a console reveal.

As can be seen in the teaser trailer below, players will be taking on the role of a cat who is lost in a cybercity that is inhabited by robots. Things likely won’t be as scary as they sound for the cat as it will befriend B12, a flying drone, along the way who will help find a way out for the cat. You can check out the beautiful neon-filled trailer for yourself below:

“Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly,” reads the official description on the game’s website. “Roam surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by nothing but unassuming droids and dangerous creatures.”

Stray is currently in development with a release expected for some point in 2021. It will be exclusive for a limited time for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, with a PC port arriving at a later time.
