WATCH: Star Citizen Single Player Trailer Featuring Mark Hamill
A mere couple of days into the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and we are already seeing Mark Hamill in an all new space story. Cloud Imperium Games has released a brand new Star Citizen single player trailer that focuses on Mark Hamill’s character Lt. Cmdr. Steve “Old Man” Colton and the character players will be playing as, his rookie wingman. Check out the trailer below to see Hamill’s crusty character in action:
First and foremost, the trailer is absolutely stunning. For those that have played Wing Commander, those are absolutely the vibes we are getting from Squadron 42 so far. If it is indicative – and we certainly hope it is – of the level of quality that can be expected from the rest of the cutscenes, Star Citizen is shaping up to be an absolute must-play, especially with the other star-studded talent that includes Gillian Anderson and the late Gary Oldman.
In the new Star Citizen single player trailer, we are introduced to Lt. Cmdr. Steve “Old Man” Colton, who immediately justifies his nickname when he heckles one of the deck crew about his ship. Revealed in the trailer, it appears that players will at least initially be stationed on the UEES Stanton, deployed in the Odin system. The first fighter players will be flying is an Aegis Gladius. It is interesting to see Mark Hamill not in and around an X-Wing, but, the Lt. Cmdr. seems perfectly at home atop the Aegis Gladius. There is currently no release date for Star Citizen.
