Stalker 2 Receives Its First Trailer And It Is Eerie (VIDEO)

Stalker 2 First Trailer

It’s been 11 years since Ukranian developer GSC Game World released a new installment in the Stalker series. A sequel has been talked about for quite some time, but fans have had to stick with the older games to get their survivalist fill. That said, the devs have now officially revealed the first trailer for Stalker 2 and it is eerily gorgeous.

During the recent Xbox Games Showcase, the first Stalker 2 trailer was revealed. From the very beginning, it is about as creepy as can be, showing off a rusted Ferris wheel, then moving to an underground area with an ominous red light spinning away. After that, it only continues to get even more eerie. Check it out for yourself below:

Needless to say, this is GSC Game World’s most ambitious title yet. For the first time ever, players will be able to explore the Zone as a post-apocalyptic open world in Stalker 2. In addition to this, the monsters and faction featured in the Zone are being controlled by A-Life 2.0, the re-imagined version of the system used in previous entries. Not only will the new version of A-Life help keep the world evolving, but it will also do it when player’s aren’t around.

“Putting aside the scale, the decisions you make will cause not only short-term outcomes, but influence the world itself,” a PR rep from GSC Game World said about Stalker 2. “We are crafting an epic, branching story culminating in lots of different endings. You’ll have to make tough choices regularly — and be brave enough to face the consequences.”

Stalker 2 is currently in development with no expected release date. However, when it is released, it will be for Xbox Series X first and PC later. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
