SoulCalibur VI Gameplay Trailer Features Returning Characters Astaroth And Seong Mi-Na (VIDEO)
Late last month, Bandai Namco released a new SoulCalibur VI trailer announcing the return of the creepy-yet-effective fighter Voldo. Now, the publisher has once again brought SoulCalibur VI onto “the stage of history,” this time with a brand new gameplay trailer for the fighting game. Released on Bandai Namco’s YouTube channel, the new trailer reintroduces series fans and newcomers to returning characters Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na. Check out the new footage below:
As in most of the previous entries in the series, Astaroth once again towers over his foes with his impressive physique and massive axe, both of which he uses to deliver powerful, crippling blows and fling his opponents about the arena. Seong Mi-Na, however, is an entirely different type of fighter, using her agility and the range of her weapon to outmaneuver her foes and stay steps ahead of their attacks.
Here is what fans can look forward to in SoulCalibur VI, courtesy of Bandai Namco:
- Unreal Engine – For the first time in franchise history, beautiful and jaw-dropping 3D character models, visual effects and stages rendered in Unreal Engine.
- New Battle Mechanics – Read opponents’ attacks to execute a strategic Reversal Edge to land a counter attack while in guard.
- Multiple Fighting Styles – Choose from a worldly roster of warriors, each with their own deadly weapons, fighting styles and visual flare.
- Dynamic Battles – Spectacular, high-speed battles featuring all-new battle mechanics taking gameplay to the next level.
SoulCalibur VI launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 19, 2018.
