Next Shovel Knight Nintendo Switch Update Will Include Video Capture

Shovel Knight Nintendo Switch Update

The Nintendo Switch is continuing its success story, which has arrived quite early in its life cycle. While the best selling titles have been Nintendo’s first party offerings, the third party titles that have decided to support the console so early have also found benefit from the relatively small library, which allows for greater attention and sales. Shovel Knight has found favor with Switch audiences, and has taken advantages of the system’s unique features. Now, it looks like the game will soon utilize another nifty feature of the Switch, as the next Shovel Knight Nintendo Switch update will include video capture.

Yacht Club Games confirmed in a tweet response to a fan, seen above through their official Twitter account, that the next Shovel Knight Nintendo Switch update would indeed enable the video capture feature for Nintendo Switch players. The tweet mentions that the next update will likely not be introduced until the King of Cards expansion for the game is made available early next year.

Shovel Knight being allowed to use the video capture for Nintendo Switch is no small feat. Only a handful of Nintendo titles had the featured enabled within the first few weeks of its release, until The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim became the first third party game to access video capture recently. It looks like Switch fans have another reason to look forward to Shovel Knight: King of Cards when it releases next year.
