Shin Megami Tensei V Nintendo Switch Release Date Reportedly Leaked

Shin Megami Tensei V Release

The Nintendo Switch is four years old at this point, but the platform is still holding strong in the console wars as a prominent figure. The console’s success has attracted many third party developers, especially those looking to develop what may not be a graphically powerful game, but one that engages fans nonetheless. One such game that fans have been waiting to see for years now has been Shin Megami Tensei V. The game had been given a fairly wide release window, with little specificity disclosed for a while now. That may have changed as one report may have leaked the Shin Megami Tensei V release date for Nintendo Switch.

Shin Megami Tensei V Release

Persona Central has shared images that they gathered from the official Japanese website for Shin Megami Tensei V. The listing on the website for the game provides various details about its launch, with one user noting that the release date for the game was suddenly updated with November 11th as its release date. Screenshots of this were saved, but the user noted that the website was updated about 15 minutes later with the release date removed. Persona Central notes that this could just be the potential release date of the Japanese version of the game, but previous statements from Atlus suggested that the game would have a worldwide simultaneous release, or at least an international release as close to the Japanese one as possible.

The timing of this potential Shin Megami Tensei V release date is interesting, as next week will be the big Nintendo Direct presentation for the digital version of E3 2021. It is quite possible that the release date announcement may be made during Nintendo’s big presentation next week, though again, this leak may be either incorrect or a coincidence. The game so far has excited fans with its combination of real-world and supernatural elements, which the series has been well known for in the past. Hopefully it lives up to the hype and the long wait, otherwise it is going to feel like a real kick in the Shin.
