Red Dead Redemption 2 Fan Adds Fred And Shaggy To The Game
Red Dead Redemption 2 has been in players’ hands for several months now, but the game has still managed to keep many entertained with its massive world. Even with new titles grabbing all of the attention on social media so far this year, Red Dead Redemption 2 players continue to find fresh things to do in the game, especially in Red Dead Online.
The internet has recently seen a bizarre meme fixation on Scooby-Doo character Shaggy Rogers that views him as an all-powerful being. Fans are begging for Shaggy to be placed in games like Mortal Kombat 11 to show off his might. Now, one Red Dead player has found a way to bring Shaggy and Fred from Scooby-Doo into the wild west.

Reddit user DorkStork0216 recently shared an image of their custom Scooby-Doo characters in Red Dead Redemption 2. Using the character customization tools available in Red Dead Online, DorkStork0216 created characters that look like Shaggy Rogers and Fred Jones. While not exact mirror images of the characters, the Fred design does use a Western kerchief tie in place of Fred’s signature ascot. The Shaggy character sports his signature goatee, untamed hair and green shirt.
The photo caption humorously says the wagon they are riding is an early version of the Mystery Machine. While sadly, there are no Velma or Daphne for either of the Mystery Men to partner up with, the duo could easily find a dog in the game to pet in place of Scooby-Doo. Sadly, given that Rockstar is not affiliated with Warner Bros., the official appearance of Shaggy and friends is far less likely than their hypothetical appearance in the WB-owned Mortal Kombat series. Still, for those looking to bring the almighty deity into Red Dead, this will certainly have anyone shout “Jinkies!”
