Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Receives New 'Deadly Tombs' Trailer (VIDEO)

With Square Enix and Eidos Montreal’s upcoming Shadow of the Tome Raider just one month away, fans of the Crystal Dynamics series are dying to join Lara Croft on her next big adventure. Said adventure will, as always, consist of a great deal of tomb exploration, which just so happens to be the subject of the newly released Shadow of the Tomb Raider ‘Deadly Tombs’ trailer. The short 41 second trailer can be viewed below:

Unlike the recent Paititi hub city trailer, the ‘Deadly Tombs’ video is decidedly short, but it gets its point across remarkably well. Lara is going to have her hands full traversing what is shaping up to be some seriously diverse caves and tombs, each filled with unique challenges for our favorite Tomb Raider to overcome. That said, some gamers may find these ‘Deadly Tombs’ to be a bit underwhelming as they are.

For those looking for an even greater challenge in Lara’s latest outing, players can choose this time around to augment their experience by adjusting the new difficulty levels within the game. The difficulty levels are split up between three different categories: Exploration, Combat, and Puzzles. While the tombs themselves won’t have different difficulty levels, players that mess with the Exploration and Puzzles difficulty levels may find themselves up against a near-insurmountable experience the next time they stumble into one of the tombs shown above. Thankfully, Lara will more than likely be up to the task.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 14, 2018.
