Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Player Beats The Game With DK Bongos (VIDEO)

Since its release, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has proven itself to be as difficult an entry as its other Bandai Namco Souls-like predecessors, causing plenty of players young and old to break many a controller in their bid to beat the game. One player in particular spun this concept completely on its head, forgoing the normal video game controller for, what else, DK Bongos!

YouTuber ATwerkinYoshi busted out some DK Bongos because, I dunno, I guess he felt like a boss that day, and went through the entire Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice game, beating it while only dying a paltry 131 times. ATwerkinYoshi posted the details of his self-imposed challenge in an Imgur post, which also revealed his entire setup for those interested in trying the challenge on for themselves. Below is a video depicting only part of the gamer’s playthrough:

it is important to note that many of those that have beaten Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice were killed more times than ATwerkinYoshi was during his playthrough, and he was using freaking DK Bongos. Let that sink in for a second. Now, is this more or less impressive than the time one gamer played through the entirety of Dark Souls 3 without leveling up or taking any damage? Honestly I have no idea, but I want both of these guys on my side for the zombie apocalypse. Those looking to watch the entire Sekiro DK Bongos challenge can do so right here.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
