Secret Of Mana Remake To Include “Moderate Amounts Of Cleavage” Per ESRB Rating

Secret Of Mana Remake

The Secret of Mana is a classic JRPG that has quite the cult following, so it came to little surprise that a Secret of Mana remake was announced for the PC, PlayStation 4, and the PS Vita. Some of the improvements fans can look forward to include improved graphics, improved audio, redesigned controls, and, er, cleavage? According to the recently released ESRB rating for the Secret of Mana remake, cleavage is definitely on the menu, so to speak, along with a few other mildly suggestive (read: super tame) comments from the characters. Check out the full rating from the ESRB website here:

This is a role-playing game in which a group of fighters must defeat an evil empire by restoring a magical sword. From an overhead perspective, players explore areas (e.g., villages, forests, caves), interact with characters, and battle fantastical creatures (e.g., oversized insects, monsters, dragons). Characters use swords, axes, and magic spells to defeat enemies in real-time combat; battles are highlighted by impact sounds, light effects, and cries of pain. A handful of characters wear outfits that reveal moderate amounts of cleavage; characters occasionally make mildly suggestive comments (e.g., “Maybe I’m not…filled out like she is, but I’ve got a great personality!”)”

So we know that “moderate amounts of cleavage” are coming, though chances are we won’t be seeing any from our boy Randi, nor from the sprite Popoi. That leaves our favorite noblewoman Primm – along with a few side characters – to account for the ESRB rating. As far as the types of outfits to expect, likely the most risqué one would be Primm’s “Tiger Two-Piece” outfit, which is one of the pre-order bonuses for the game. It can be seen below:

Square Enix may be planning on some future fan-servicey outfits, though what those may entail is anyone’s guess at this point. The Secret of Mana remake arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, and PS Vita on February 15, 2018. A physical edition of the game wil also be available in limited quantities for the PlayStation 4.

So, thoughts on the Secret of Mana remake ESRB rating? What other DLC outfits would you like to see come to the game for any of the characters?
