Resident Evil Village Reveals New Screenshots And Details

Resident Evil Village

We are just days away from 2021, which means we will soon be able to say that there are a ton of new games on the way “this year.” Until then, however, we get to still learn more about what’s to come, including Capcom’s Resident Evil Village, which has recently revealed some new screenshots and details.

Speaking with IGN, producer Peter Fabiano touched on a few things fans can expect when Resident Evil Village arrives next year. “We feel it’s an accumulation of all the best elements of Resident Evil games from the past 25 years, with everything fans love about action-infused survival horror plus new surprises,” Fabiano said. “Of course, there are plenty of puzzles to solve and mysteries to unfold.” Check out some of the new screenshots below, courtesy of IGN.

“We hope fans will enjoy exploring the desolate, snowy village in which Resident Evil Village takes place, where enemies new to the franchise are waiting for them,” Fabiano continued. “Players will once again take control of Ethan Winters, experiencing more of the story set in motion in Resident Evil 7 biohazard. New technologies are allowing us to immerse players in the game in ways we couldn’t achieve before, in what we hope will be the most pulse-pounding Resident Evil game to date.”

As a fan of the series, this will likely come as exciting news. After all, Resident Evil 7 was essentially a return to form, providing players with an excellent experience filled with puzzles, enemies, and the creepiness dialed way up. Needless to say, it’s looking like Resident Evil Village will be expanding upon that and probably break the creepiness dial.

Resident Evil Village is currently in development and expected to launch in 2021 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
