Cyberpunk 2077: Microsoft Offering Full Refunds For Xbox Players

Cyberpunk 2077 Voice Actors

The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 may just be the roughest one in recent gaming history, with people playing on last-gen consoles practically not being able to play and others encountering an absurd amount of bugs. All of this has only been exacerbated by the studio and their response to the situation. That said, refunds have been a hot topic over the past week, and it looks like those on Xbox will be getting a full refund.

The Xbox Support Twitter account revealed earlier that the Microsoft team is expanding their refund policy to accommodate Cyberpunk 2077 owners who may be dissatisfied with their purchase. They will be doing this for those who purchased the game digitally from the Microsoft Store. “While we know the developers at CD PROJEKT RED have worked hard to ship Cyberpunk 2077 in extremely challenging circumstances, we also realize that some players have been unhappy with the current experience on older consoles,” reads the tweet.

They then go on to note that they “have granted refunds to the vast majority of customers who have requested one.” To request a refund for yourself, that can be done right here. This, of course, comes after the extreme measure that Sony took by delisting Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store and offering refunds to players. Needless to say, this is one messy launch.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
