Resident Evil 8: Village Revealed With Haunting Trailer (VIDEO)

Resident Evil 8 Reveal Trailer Capcom

The next installment in the Resident Evil franchise has been in question since the arrival of the seventh entry. Rumors, leaks, and speculations have run rampant on the Internet, but it looks like all of that shall come to an end as Capcom has officially revealed Resident Evil 8: Village, or Resident Evil Village, with an absolutely haunting trailer.

During the PlayStation 5 games lineup event, Sony pulled together not only first-party studios, but also a handful of third-party developers. However, when the Resident Evil 8 trailer began, there is a good chance that horror fans were instantly intrigued by what they were seeing. Haunting vibes galore were on display as the trailer played out until it was finally revealed to be the next installment in the popular series. Check it out for yourself below:

Resident Evil 8 will be a direct sequel to RE7 and it will feature that installment’s main protagonist, Ethan Winters, as well as Chris Redfield. As can be seen in the trailer above, the game looks to take place in a village somewhere in a snowy mountain landscape, and it appears that there will be some sort of werewolves, so that should be a ton of fun to deal with.

Resident Evil 8 is set to arrive at some point in 2021 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and most likely PC as well. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as we learn more about the next Resident Evil installment, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
