Red Faction Might Be Heading to the PS2-to-PS4 Catalog

Red Faction

In a long list of previous gen games that are steadily making their way to the new generation of consoles, whether it be through backwards compatibility, or a remastered version, or just a digital version of the old game, Red Faction might be atop the list of new contenders.

Recently, the European ratings group PEGI has given a rating to THQ Nordic’s Red Faction for the PS4. The only problem being that Red Faction was released in 2001 for the PS2. Could this mean that we might be seeing a new title for the PS2-to-PS4 catalog? The last title to make its way to the catalog was Red Dead Revolver, the first game in the now Red Dead Trilogy, and that was earlier this month. The ESRB has not made a similar rating in the US, but we can always assume!

Did you play Red Faction when it was originally released back in 2001? After watching the high quality trailer above, does it make you want to play Red Faction more, or less? Have you seen this? How does that make you feel? Sound off in the comments below, and be sure to stay tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers for all of your gaming needs!
