Huge Pokemon GO Update Reveals The Hunt For Mew And Daily Quests Coming Soon
Mew, the 151st Pokemon in the game, is going to make a comeback with the upcoming Pokemon GO update. According to developer Niantic Labs, they’ll be bringing awesome additions to the mobile game with a hunt for the psychic-type legendary and will be introducing rewarding daily tasks, bestowing players with items or “encounters with certain Pokemon”.
The reason all of this is happening? Professor Willow is on the hunt for ready and willing trainers to be assigned with daily tasks as he seeks out the “mythical” Mew. These daily tasks come in two forms called Field Research and Special Research where the objective includes spinning PokeStops, granting discoveries and encounters. In fact, Special Research may take you on a waltz with Professor Willow himself. Wouldn’t that be a blast?
Better yet, Trainers can complete as many research quests as they want and earn stamps in the process. For the latter bit, however, only one stamp can be earned each day for a single Field Research task, but you can still do as many as possible within a day to earn extra goodies. Of course, these dailies can vary in difficulty level as well, which is great news for those seeking some challenge! Check out the images above for a visual aid. The interface looks pretty snazzy and easy to use.
The huge Pokemon GO update is expected to go live on Friday, March 30th. Are you ready to get rewarded for daily quests? Are you excited to catch the “mythical” and legendary Mew?
