Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Is Now Free For A Limited Time

While the video game industry as a whole has certainly been changed due to the coronavirus pandemic, many game developers have stepped up by making it just a bit easier for folks to stay at home and stay safe. Earlier this month, Sony announced its Stay At Home initiative, which features two free PS4 games available now through May 5th. Bandai Namco seems to have been a big fan of the idea, as the Dark Souls publisher has announced that Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is now free for a limited time.

Bandai Namco recently took to its official website to detail its action plan to offer aid during the ongoing pandemic. According to the publisher, their vision is to follow their “more fun for everyone” slogan word for word, and as such Bandai Namco is committed to bringing “smiles and laughter to video game players throughout the world during this difficult time.” To that end, they will be sending their “beloved goodwill ambassador (that’s Pac-Man) into everyone’s homes via Pac-Man Championship Edition 2.

Per Bandai Namco, Pac-Man Champion Edition 2 is now available for free on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is free now through May 10, 2020, so be sure to hop onto your preferred platform and snag it before it’s too late!
