Overwatch Lunar New Year Event Makes Its Return Next Week
One thing that makes Blizzard’s hit FPS Overwatch so successful is its consistently rotating events schedule. I see it every time I reach my own “I need to take a break from this game” point and Blizzard pulls me right back in with shiny new skins to earn and new maps to explore. The upcoming Lunar Event will be similar to last year’s, which was incredibly successful with the player base with even more heroic loot to get!
With 2018 being the Year of the Dog for the Chinese Zodiac, it is likely that that will be the theme of this year’s loot: legendary skins, emotes, sprays, and more. Just like last year’s event centered around the zodiac animal, it’s safe to assume that this year will as well. With Capture the Rooster being integral to the event in the past, we’re curious to see how the team will switch it up to honor this year’s theme.
🎊 Wishing you prosperity in the Year of the Dog! 🎊
