Overwatch’s Jeff Kaplan Teases Upcoming Hero (VIDEO)
Overwatch is constantly adding new content ranging from skins and events to even new characters. The latest character to be introduced was Baptiste, a former Talon operative and elite combat medic who came to the game only a few months ago. Still, as players begin to get comfortable playing with and against the latest hero, it’s time to look into the future for the next character to join the fray.
There isn’t much information to go on as to what fans can expect out of the next hero for the team shooter, however, Jeff Kaplan did tease the next hero in the latest dev diary for the game. Firstly, the hero will be a male character and second, he won’t become available as soon as fans might expect. What this means for fans is a bit unclear, but it’s safe to assume he won’t make an appearance anytime soon.
Overwatch is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. One of the more popular rumors out there indicates that the 31st hero coming to the game will be none other than a man named Mauga, a tank class character working with Talon and was seen in Baptiste’s short story, “What You Left Behind”. With Blizzard’s previous track record of teasing characters before they’re officially revealed, the character is certainly a plausible candidate.
