‘Overkill’s The Walking Dead’ PC Beta Details Revealed (VIDEO)
It has been all quiet on the ‘Overkill’s The Walking Dead’ front ever since the developer released a bunch of character trailers earlier this year. Thankfully, the silence has finally been broken, as Overkill has announced that there will be a closed beta for the PC version of the game beginning on October 9th.
The beta test was announced in a recent developer stream, wherein it was revealed that it will in fact be a closed beta, with admittance given to those that have pre-ordered the game on Steam. Further, those that have pre-ordered the standard edition of Overkill’s The Walking Dead will receive a single closed beta key, while those that pre-ordered the deluxe edition will be given four closed beta keys. The new developer stream can be seen in its entirety below, which includes a look at the West End Underpass level:
Here’s a brief breakdown of Overkill’s The Walking Dead:
“OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead is a four player co-op action FPS where you fight the dead as well as the living. Set in The Walking Dead Universe, you and your group try to survive in a post-apocalyptic Washington D.C.
Four players form a tightly knit team; Aidan, Heather, Maya and Grant, where each character has their own skill tree, squad role, play style and background story. Now they all share a common objective where survival and teamwork is paramount.”
Overkill’s The Walking Dead releases on November 6th, 2018 for PC, and in February 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
