Overcooked 2 Free Game Trial Available For A Limited Time
As internet technology continues to become more commonplace, Nintendo has grown in how they utilize it with their consoles. With the Nintendo Switch Online program, Nintendo has been able to offer more robust internet-based features, including cloud saves and online play. Also included with a subscription are free online games, including a library of NES and SNES games, and new exclusive titles like the Super Mario 35 battle royale. One game that Nintendo Switch owners have enjoyed is Overcooked 2, and now more may get to enjoy it, as it will be available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers as a free game trial.

Nintendo of America announced on their official Twitter account that Overcooked 2 would soon be a special freebie for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Users can download the game and play through its full entirety now. However, the game will only be available to play for free until the end of the day on February 16th. This offer was first made available in other regions, such as Europe, and had now finally made its way to the west.
A previous Nintendo of America tweet about the Overcooked 2 free trial described the game as perfect for Valentine’s Day co-operative way with a sweetheart. The game is well known for its local multiplayer play for up to four people, with only one joy-con needed per player. Given its simple gameplay, it’s a fairly approachable game for a wide audience. Hopefully though, the stresses of the line-order restaurant-based challenges don’t divide more couples this weekend rather than unite them.
