Moon Studios is the company responsible for bringing the magnificent title Ori and the Blind Forest into this world, and the developer will soon bring fans a sequel to the incredible adventure platformer called Ori and the Will of the Wisps. It seems the upcoming release isn’t all for the studio, as news has arrived indicating the company hopes to take on the action RPG genre as well.

According to a recent job listing on Gamasutra, Moon Studios appears to be looking for a Senior Game Designer with the capability of working remotely along with a variety of other requirements. Interestingly, the post also states that Moon is looking to “revolutionize the ARPG genre” with a new title, the company focusing on “highly refined gameplay mechanics” and “an excessive ‘iterative polish’ process.”

The mystery action RPG title has no release date as of yet but the listing suggests that Moon Studios may be planning to bring the game to PlayStation 4 in addition to PC and Xbox One. Not much else was revealed about the project, but with the work the company has done with the Metroidvania genre, it’ll be interesting to see what they will be able to come up with.
