Nintendo Owns Mario Adult Films And Other Trivia Revealed (VIDEO)

Mario Adult Films

The former plumber Mario is a character so light and fun that it’s no wonder why he is Nintendo’s official mascot. However, not all of company’s property showcase the character in a family-friendly or even a “safe for work” manner, as revealed in a recent episode of Did You Know Gaming. The inclusive video sheds light on a number of Mario’s lesser known censored adventures, including that Big N owns a stash of Mario adult films.

Why does the child friendly Nintendo own such adult material? The latest DYKG video reveals the Mario porno was not initially the property of Nintendo, but the company felt compelled to purchase the films’ rights to prevent them from seeing the light of day. It was ultimately for naught as the videos’ existence were ultimately rediscovered in 2008 as Super Hornio Brothers and Super Hornio Brothers II respectively.

The above video gives attention to even more instances of censored content involving a ballsy marketing strategy for Super Mario Strikers, a removed gun duel in Mario Party 2, and a number of overt grammatical errors in New Super Mario Bros. 2. Further mentioned is an unmade 1994 version of Mario Maker, a few rare easter eggs, and Super Mario Galaxy‘s controversial localization of Canadian French. All that and much more can be viewed in the video.

What do you think? Does the idea of Nintendo owning a duo of Mario adult films sound hilarious, or will you never look at a warp pipe the same way again?
