Just two weeks away from release and Capcom prepares a brand new trailer to get Resident Evil 2 fans ready. As anticipated, the studio is bringing back two unforgettable side characters that helped make the original game so enjoyable – Hunk and Tofu. Confirming their reprisal, a new trailer was released debuting some storyline cinematics and painfully short clips that pan to the aforementioned pair. Check it out:

Originally created for collision testing, Tofu gained a life of its own and even received its own minigame based on The Fourth Survivor, which featured the one and only Umbrella operative Hunk. Yes, Tofu is indeed a chunk of jiggly tofu. The majority of the trailer above focuses on main protagonists Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield with supporting characters such as Ada Wong, Annette Birkin, and others.

Can’t wait to get your hands on it now? From January 11th to the 31st, a 1-Shot Demo is available for download. Players have 30 minutes to complete the Resident Evil 2 demo without becoming a zombie’s next meal. Face death and you’ll be locked out of playing the trial forever.
