New Overwatch Hero Reveals A Death-Dealing Battlebot Hamster (VIDEO)
Earlier this week, the Overwatch team released a few 6-second clips teasing the game’s newest hero. To sum it up for those that missed it, it was a giant rolling ball, so, pretty vague. Just now, Blizzard released the final teaser and with it the official reveal that hero 28 is…a hamster? Inside what looks like…a battlebot? Check it out below:

Okay, so moving on, there was a fan theory going around suggesting that one of the upcoming Overwatch heroes would likely be Hammond, the missing specimen from the Horizon Lunar Colony. As a refresher, the Horizon Lunar Colony was a massive science experiment, with our favorite gorilla hero Winston being the program’s most famous graduate. Hammond was also experimented on alongside Winston, so it is possible that they knew each other from ‘back in the day.’
After the coup aboard the station, both Hammond and Winston went “missing” though we of course know where Winston has been. Hammond, however, has not been seen until now. What has he been doing all this time? Well, that’s hard to say, but it now it looks like he’s ready to “roll out” and cause some floofy mayhem.
Overwatch is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
So, thoughts on the new Overwatch hero? Do you think that he’ll be a tank, or an offensive hero?
