Neverwinter Releases A New Playable Race In Upcoming Uprising Update (VIDEO)
Neverwinter has been out for years now, and the team over at Cryptic Studios continues to deliver with fresh new content for players to enjoy. The free-to-play massively multiplayer online game has released the official announcement trailer for the upcoming Uprising content release – and it has fans excited! Among all of the new features that players will be able to get their hands on, it was also announced that we will have a new Gith playable race – which will become available on August 13th.
In addition to the racial choice we have to look forward to, there are also plenty of features that were announced by the development team:
- Infiltrate areas of conflict and search for enemy commanders
- Face powerful new foes
- Travel to Stardock – the gith base hidden inside an asteroid
- Players will also come face to face with Halaster Blackcloak, angered by the conflicts erupting in the halls and caverns of his domain, in a new 10-Player trial!
- New PvP map
- Fashion system overhaul
- Recrafted early game zones and stories
- Much more!
For those who may not be familiar with Neverwinter, which has been on since 2013, below is a brief synopsis via Steam:
Neverwinter is a free, action MMORPG based on the acclaimed Dungeons & Dragons fantasy roleplaying game. Epic stories, action combat and classic roleplaying await those heroes courageous enough to enter the fantastic world of Neverwinter!”
Neverwinter is available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The Uprising update goes live on August 13th.
