Netflix’s The Witcher Series Cast Visualized
With production underway for Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of The Witcher, the streaming service has finally begun presenting some juicy details to the public, including a recent screen test of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. Prior to the reveal, Netflix has been incrementally releasing the majority of the cast list for the series, starting with Geralt and then revealing the actors for Yennefer and Ciri, before announcing the majority of the cast in one fell swoop.
With the majority of the cast having been officially revealed, one Redditor has compiled a photo visual of most of the announced cast members thus far, accompanied by their photo and who they will be playing in The Witcher. Check it out below:
There are, of course, a few names missing from this list. Freya Allan will be joining the cast as Ciri, a young sorceress whom Geralt of Rivia takes under his wing. Anya Chalotra plays the role of Yennefer, Geralt’s main love interest and someone who fills a mother figure-like role for Ciri. Here’s the plot summary of Netflix’s upcoming The Witcher series adaptation:
“The witcher, Geralt, a mutated monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.”
While the majority of the cast has already been revealed, Netflix has yet to say who the villain will be in the upcoming series, as well as who will be playing him or her. That said, a previous audition leak has given us a solid guess….
The Witcher will air at some point in the future exclusively for Netflix.
