Stunning Minecraft Texture Pack Makes The Game Beautifully Realistic

Mods stand to be one of the most innovative inventions in video game history, well-known for its diverse choices in the Skyrim community, other series are no stranger to the modding craze. Minecraft continues to be a hit with a wide range of demographic from its use as an educational tool to an enjoyable past time for all ages. The three-dimensional, sandbox game that took over the world has mods too, including this newly release texture pack that makes the game stunningly realistic!

Titled Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders for Minecraft (S.E.U.S.), modder Cody (a.k.a. Sonic Ether) is creating the most realistic texture pack for the game. A few years ago, he stepped away from the project due to financial concerns. Now with a Patreon page already funded for the full month, he’s back in full force! Here are a few mind-blowing features of the SEUS mod and equally stunning screenshots:

  • Improved GI and SSAO
  • Super smooth Temporal Anti-Aliasing
  • Completely reworked system for day/night cycle based on atmospheric scattering
  • Accurate sunlight color via atmospheric scattering
