Microsoft Unveils Two Glorious New Xbox One Controllers Coming Soon
It looks like Sony isn’t the only company releasing a new line of snazzy controllers for the Fall season. The folks over at Microsoft are officially stepping up to the plate, busting out to impressive color schemes for gamers to salivate over, both of which are coming soon. Neither of these are related to the recent Xbox mobile device patent recently registered to Microsoft, though they’re both still pretty impressive.
Just recently announced, the new Xbox One controllers are titled Night Ops Camo – which looks about as dark and camouflage-patterned as it sounds – and Sport Blue. These two Special Edition controllers will each cost $69.99, with a release date of September 17 for the Sport Blue and October 8 for the Night Ops Camo. Here’s another shot of each controller followed by the description from Microsoft:
“Equip yourself with the Xbox Wireless Controller – Sport Blue Special Edition, featuring a vibrant blue design with metallic accents and rubberized diamond grip for enhanced comfort. Enjoy custom button mapping and plug in any compatible headset with the 3.5mm stereo headset jack. And with Bluetooth® technology, play your favorite games on Windows 10 PCs and tablets.*
“Lock and load with the Xbox Wireless Controller – Night Ops Camo Special Edition, the first in a new series of controllers, featuring a rugged black, grey, and metallic gold camouflage pattern. An etched trigger grip gives you extra control, and button mapping allows you to customize your gear just the way you like it. Plug in any compatible headset with the 3.5mm stereo headset jack, and with Bluetooth® technology, play your favorite games on Windows 10 PCs and tablets.*
