As revealed recently, the recommended PC specifications for the game is no joke. While it is playable with the minimum requirements, it’s always a sad day when your computer specs don’t quite match up to the suggested one. Details indicated that the Mass Effect: Andromeda file size requires 55 gigabytes of free hard drive space. Hot damn! Fortunately for console players, the minutiae of upgrading it accordingly isn’t a constant worry. In fact, good news has been revealed! Preloading has commenced in some regions of the United States and, while others have not received notification just yet, those who are have been posting all over Twitter about it. As a result, we’ve learned the file size needed for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 – 42.19 and 42.90 GBs, respectively.

While no official announcement has been made from Electronic Arts or BioWare themselves, it is expected that some word will be mentioned pertaining to preload dates or times. With Mass Effect: Andromeda’s launch just one week away, it’s difficult to retain the excitement! The trilogy was fantastic. Some will debate the quality of each installment, but as a whole, it was fantastic – a heartfelt and dynamic journey that players got to experience. That’s why the anticipation for this game is so high. Also, aliens.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will release March 21st, 2017. For those of whom have EA or Origin Access, there will be a trial version available for PC and Xbox One. Any and all save progress will transfer over to the actual game once it has been installed.
