Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Recommended Specs Expected to Run 30 FPS at 1080p

Specs

If you ever wondered what it would be like to see the stars in high quality, you just might get that opportunity in the upcoming space RPG Mass Effect: Andromeda. Not too long ago, EA and BioWare released the specs needed for the game to run properly on PC. As a refresher, the spec requirements state that for predicted performance, the gamer should ensure that they have an Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350 processor for minimum performance, or an Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD FX-8350 for recommended performance. Other specs you should make sure are ready for your game play are 16GB of RAM, a GTX 1060 3 GB or RX 480 4 GB graphics card, and at least 512 kbps or faster broadband connection for Internet.

After checking out the recommended specs and ensuring that your PC is decked out with all the bells and whistles, you should expect to experience crystal clear gaming on High settings (or maybe even Ultra settings, if you fine tune your system just right). If you are on the recommended side of things, you can expect to run Andromeda at a minimum of 30 fps at 1080p with your settings at High. Not bad, considering all the pretty scenery we can’t wait to see when the game officially launches next week.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is also slighted to run on 4K settings as well, which further improves your game play experience, provided you have all the rigging to run that high of a resolution. However, it’s a good idea to make sure you test your PC before you try and shoot for the highest visual settings. Playing any game at Ultra settings runs the possibility of negatively impacting performance, so if you feel like you’ve gotten the latest hardware taken care of but are still a little skeptical of your PC’s performance, you can check out a run test here.

Specs

Mass Effect: Andromeda officially launches on March 21st for US gamers, though if you have an EA Access or Origin Access account, you’ll get a chance to play the game as early as March 16th. If you’re not playing the game on PC, Andromeda launches for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 21st as well.
